Me Robot | Animated Short Film

Me Robot (2026) is a short animated film written and directed by Takudzwa Thulani. The short film is about a humanoid who questions whether he is a human or not after a breakup. He then takes an extreme measure to discover the truth until the truth finds him.

What if you were a robot and did not know it but everyone else around you did? This is the question, asked by the writer, that made this project possible. Be sure to watch Me Robot available exclusively on the Taku Media channel on YouTube.

3D with Autodesk Maya

Since I was a kid, I've always marvelled at 3D art. Its immersive and allows for depth as a storytelling tool. In the fall of 2025 for my Intro to 3D class, I used Autodesk Maya to dive deeper into the world of 3D. I used Autodesk Arnold, an industry standard renderer to define the final output of some of these works. As I prepare to use other tools such as houdini through collaboration, I hope to develop my own tools and software for my future film and multi-media studio.
